Jean L. Entzminger, 86, Stevens Point, a former owner of Jean’s Beauty Bar in Stevens Point, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Care Partners in Stevens Point.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Entzminger was born April 1, 1927, in Marshfield, a daughter of the late Joe and Anna (Feit) Pacourek. After the death of her mother in 1928, she was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Edward and Edith Feit. She attended grade schools in Unity and graduated from the Unity High School.
After high school, she attended the School of Cosmetology and moved to the Stevens Point area.
She was married to Patrick J. Entzminger on July 3, 1948, in Stevens Point. He died April 26, 2005.
Except for a short stint in Moline, Ill., they resided the rest of their lives in Portage County.
Together they owned and operated Jean’s Beauty Bar in Stevens Point for more than 40 years before closing the shop in July 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Kurt) Wagner, Waupaca, Joanie (Joe) Firkus, Amherst, and Ann Marie (David) Millspaugh, Saline, Mich.; one son, Clark (Dana) , DeForest; seven grandchildren, including Mandy (Joel) Hojnacki, Plover; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Strebe; and four brothers, Leonard, Lawrence, Robert and Norman Pacourek.
