The celebration of life service was held in La Porte, Ind., Friday, May 3. Burial was at Pine Lake Cemetery.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 19, at Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church in Stevens Point, with Rev. Susan Zencka officiating at both services.

Mrs. Ransom was born Aug. 30, 1923, in Mandan, N.D., a daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Beba) Kottsick.
She was married to Webster Arthur Ransom on April 26, 1942, in Michigan City, Ind. He died on Feb. 19, 1998.
She was a homemaker, office manager of the family business, deacon of the La Porte Presbyterian Church, worker in missions at Guacio National Missions Project of the Presbyterian Church in Puerto Rico, volunteer for Meals on Wheels in La Porte and a member of Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church of Stevens Point.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra D. McAdam, Stevens Point; two granddaughters, Carrie Porter, Plover, and Jennifer Buck, Appleton; and four great-grandchildren, Rachel Placeway and Kaden, Elijah and Jacob Buck.
She was also preceded in death by two older sisters, Lillian and Bessie; and two older brothers, Roman and Emil.
