A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph, with the Revs. Rolando Onden and Chester Osowski officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 8 a.m. Saturday, May 4, until the Mass.

Mr. Hartjes was born Dec. 1, 1924, in the town of Carson, a son of the late Sylvester and Marie (Dorshorst) Hartjes.
He was married to Louise Zimmerman on July 20, 1946, at St. Philip Church in Rudolph.
He worked at the Biron Paper Mill for 15 years, while running a full-time dairy farm. He was also well known in the community for his masonry and carpentry work.
He served as a firefighter for the Rudolph Volunteer Fire Department for 29 years.
He was a longtime member of the Catholic Order of Foresters of St. Philip Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry (Kathy) and Roger (Cindy), both of Rudolph; three daughters, Connie (Dave) Jagodzinski, Port Edwards, and Kris (Jerry) Willfahrt and Jackie (Phil) Slattery, both of Rudolph; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was also was preceded in death by one sister, Clarice Peters; two brothers, Marvin and Wayne; and one grandson, Gabriel Hartjes.
