Philip M. Campbell, 80, Stevens Point, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial with full military honors was in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

Mr. Campbell was born July 22, 1932, in New York City, a son of the late Peter Campbell of County Leitrim, Ireland, and the late Catherine (Duffy) Campbell of Blackburn, Scotland. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, N.Y., in 1950.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a communications technician and was honorably discharged in 1955.
He was married to Cecilia McNamara on Sept. 12, 1964, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale, N.Y.
They resided most of their married years in Carmel, N.Y., and Danbury Conn.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., in 1979. He worked for several large corporations in Manhattan, N.Y., before becoming risk manager for Putnam County, New York. He retired in 1998.
He and his wife settled in Stevens Point for their retirement.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Catherine (James) Barrett, Stevens Point; two sons, Philip (Michelle), Panama City, Fla., and Peter (Jacinta), Aberdeen, N.C.; one brother, Joseph (Dona), Fairfield, Conn.; one sister, Marianne (Campbell) Wood, Fort Mill, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.
