A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Susan Zencka officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Mr. Hetzer was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Arthur and Effie (Rustad) Hetzer. He attended the local grade schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
He was married to Ione Sorenson on July 21, 1951, in Stevens Point.
He was inducted into the U.S. Air Force in July 1950. During his time in service, he earned a Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on July 5, 1954.
In earlier years he was a police officer for the Stevens Point Police Department. He later became a truck driver for Dahlman Truckline, and then became employed with Gross Common Carrier. He worked there for 21 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 6.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gary (Marcia Tepp), Rosholt, and Alan (Connie) and George (Marge), both of Stevens Point; four daughters, Mary (Bert) Trzebiatowski, Bancroft, Diane (David) Lobermeier and Joan (Steve) Maddox, both of Stevens Point, and Deborah (Gary) Schadrie, Friendship; one brother, James (Pat) Hetzer, Hudson, N.H.; one sister, Carol (Mel) Schneeberg, Wisconsin Rapids; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
