A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Burial with full military honors will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Plover-Shuda Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday. A general rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Tomczak was born May 4, 1946, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Damatius (Sam) and Estelle (Marciniak) Tomczak. He graduated from Pacelli High School in 1964.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
He entered the United States Army on Oct. 12, 1966, and served until his honorable discharge on Sept. 30, 1968.
He returned to the area and began playing in local bands including The Orbits and The Furys.
He was married to Sheryl Reno on Sept. 23, 1972, at St. Bronislava Church.
He also worked as a carpenter and at UPS before beginning his career at Consolidated and the Whiting Paper Mill. He retired from Storo Enso in 2007.
He was a volunteer firefighter with the Plover Fire Department for 35 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie (Aaron Weber) Tomczak, Stoughton; one son, Jeremie (Shirley), Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister Rose Marie (John) Rosenthal; and one granddaughter, Monet Josephine Tomczak.
