Peggy Higgins, 57, Plover, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at home.
A service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lonnie Stine officiating. A potluck will follow. Interment will take place in Meehan Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service.
A memorial will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Higgins was born Aug. 2, 1955, in Amherst, a daughter of the late Herbert and Marilyn (Jensen) Stedman. She grew up there and graduated from Amherst High School.
She worked in Chicago as a nanny before returning to the Plover area.
She was married to Gale Higgins on April 12, 1975. He died in 2005.
She worked at Okray Family Farms for a short time before becoming a homemaker.
She belonged to Meehan Bible Aid and later, Badger Bible Aid, in addition to holding weekly Bible study at her home. She also worked in the office at Riverside Bible Camp.
Survivors include three children, Sherman (Jill), Annette (Guy) Hall, and Amanda (Jerry) Friedl; five siblings, Betty (Mark) Syverson, June (Barry) Little, Lynn Stedman, Lila (Joel) Syverson, and Amy Hester; and four grandchildren.
