Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City, with the Rev. Timothy Roser officiating. Burial will be in Alsen Cemetery in Alsen, N.D.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services.

Mrs. Metzler was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Wales, N.D., a daughter of the late August and Pauline (Kuball) Domres. She attended a country school in South Dresdon, N.D.
She was married to Frederick C. Metzler on April 30, 1945, at St. John Lutheran Church in Dresdon, N.D. He died June 20, 2000.
She spent their married life in Alsen as a housewife and raised her family until moving to Langdon, N.D., in 1995 to be near her family.
Survivors include five children, Curtis (Elaine) Metzler, Bargersville, Ind., Leslie (Kathy) Metzler, Junction City, Janet (Jon) Macht, Pittsfield, Mass., Beverly Metzler, Devils Lake, N.D., and James (Marie) Metzler, Brunswick, Ga.; one sister, Elsie VanDenBerg, Fargo, N.D.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one infant son, Charles; six brothers, William, Albert, Henry, Frank, Walter and Charles; and three sisters, Ida, Emilia and Hilda.
