Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. William Menzel officiating. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph at a later date.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Schulfer was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Edmund and Helen (Kalinowski) Schulfer.
He was married to Margaret R. Rybicki on Oct. 15, 1966, in Rudolph.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and was an auditor for Nekoosa Papers Inc. and then Consolidated Papers Inc. for a total of 33-1/2 years, retiring in June 2001.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965.
He was a member of the Grand Rapids Lions Club and the Wisconsin Rapids Youth Soccer League.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Nathan David Schulfer, Madison; two daughters, Jill Marie (Ambrose) McKellan, Wisconsin Rapids, and Ann Corazon (Dan) Ganch, Mount Horeb; one brother, Michael (Kathy), Wauwatosa; two sisters, Sylvia (Skeeter) Hansen, Stevens Point, and Mary (Gary) Bronk, Mukwonago; and three grandchildren.
