A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, at United Methodist Church in Plainfield, with the Rev. Dave Leistra officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield and at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the service.

Mrs. Bartels was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Lake City, Minn., a daughter of the late Leon and Elizabeth Green, and was raised by Harvey and Lou Lange.
She was married to William Barker in 1946. He died in 1977.
She was married to Irving Bartels in 1981. He died in 1995.
She worked at Preway, Western Union, Rumple Insurance and Tri-County Area Schools until her retirement in 1992.
She led local 4-H clubs, and was an active member of The Plainfield Grange, Eastern Star, Bridge Club and the United Methodist Church in Plainfield.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Joan) Barker, Plainfield; four stepchildren, Robert (Hilda) Bartels, Apache Junction, Ariz., Harold (Diane) Bartels, Berlin, Dorothy (Ken) Poppy, Mesa, Ariz., and Diane Bartels, Wild Rose; six grandsons, Michael (Beth) Barker, Plainfield, Edward (Jamie) Barker, Wisconsin Rapids, Daniel (Brooke) Barker, Plainfield, William (Jackie) Barker, Streamwood, Ill., Robby Barker, Plover, and Philip Barker, Stevens Point; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, Don, Bill, Chuck and Roger; and two sisters, Jean and Vivian.
