Robert A. Hodges, 61, Amherst, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Jude T. Dioka officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Shuda Funeral Home in Plover and at the church from noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Hodges was born Feb. 9, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa, a son of Donald and Amelia (Dolieslager) Hodges. As a child he moved with his family to Mounds View, Minn., where he graduated from Irondale High School in 1970.
He was married to Christine Buck on Oct. 7, 1972, in New Brighten, Minn.
The couple settled in Blaine, Minn., where he worked as a field service technician in the printing industry. The family moved to St. Francis, Minn., in 1998 and Robert retired in 2010. They have resided in Amherst since 2011.
He served as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; two sons, Matthew (Kelly) Hodges, Milwaukee, and Justin (Kristin) Hodges, Stevens Point; three brothers, Michael (Dawn), James (Lisa), and John (Julie); one sister, Laurie (Dennis); and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Susan.
