Adolph R. Derge, 92, father of a Stevens Point woman, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Harmony Assisted Living Home in Stevens Point while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Bend, with the Revs. Robert Hein and Richard Lauersdorf officiating. Interment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until the service.
Memorials can be made to Ministry Hospice Services of Stevens Point, Kathy Hospice of West Bend, or to a charity of one’s choice.
The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Derge was born May 17, 1920, in the family farmhouse in the town of Herman, Wis., a son of the late Albert and Lena Derge. He attended Cloverlawn School, the neighborhood one-room elementary school.
He was married to Anita A. Westphal on Aug. 27, 1947, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
He purchased the family farm in rural Hartford from his parents, and the couple worked the family dairy farm until they retired and moved to West Bend in 1982.
Survivors include one daughter, Annette (Dale) Schuh; two grandsons; nieces; and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife; nine brothers, Hervardt, Leander, Arnold, Alvin, Edward, Reinhardt, Berthold, Gerhard, and Walter; and two sisters, Blandina Wellhoefer and Adela Neunfeldt.
