Lucille E. Butzin, 89, Amherst, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King where she was a resident.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in the town of Buena Vista, with the Rev. Hector Moreno officiating. Burial will be in the spring at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in the town of Lanark.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.
Holly Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Butzin was born Aug. 15, 1923, in Sussex, Wis., a daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Eichstedt) Becker.
She was married to William A. Butzin on March 2, 1946, in Milwaukee. He died June 19, 2007.
She is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Gerald) Deuman, Amherst, and Carol (David) Makuski, Waupaca; one son, Larry (Gail), Waupaca; three sisters, Marian (Robert) Petrach, Fort Worth, Texas, Gladys (Lowell) Holtz, Milwaukee, and Florence Baertlein, Winona, Minn.; three brothers, Chester (Delores) Becker, Sussex, Kenneth Becker, Random Lake, Daniel (Darlene) Becker, Waukesha; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and 11 step great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael; and one brother, Fredrick.
