Roman J. “Butch” Denissen, 71, Madison, a former Stevens Point resident, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, after a battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Green Bay, with the Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Burial will be in South Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Blaney Funeral Home in Green Bay, from 3 and at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the Mass.

Mr. Denissen was born Dec. 13, 1941, in Green Bay, a son of the late Roman and Ursula (Carmody) Denissen. He graduated from Premontre High School in 1960.
He served in the U.S. Navy following graduation.
He was married to Sharon Kussow on Aug. 26, 1967.
They resided in Stevens Point for 25 years, where they raised their family and then moved to Madison in 1995. He retired from S.C. Johnson Wax in 2008, after 33 years of service.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Kelly (Dan) Schowalter, New Jersey, Stacy (Eric) Schloesser, and Amy (Jaysin) Raykowski, both of Mount Horeb, and Kate (Craig) Borenz, Madison; and nice grandchildren.
