Theodore Joseph Olszewski, 69, Plover, died Thursday March 7, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.

Mr. Olszewski was born June 13, 1943, in Hurley, a son of Anne and Theodore Olszewski. He graduated from Hurley High School in 1961 and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) in 1968. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity.
He met and was married to Kathleen Deesh while at UWSP.
He taught at St. Joseph School in Stevens Point for seven years before becoming part owner of an insurance agency in Hatley until 1982. He entered the auto finance business in 1983, eventually retiring from Cooper Motors in 1998.
He was active in the church and the Republican Party of Portage County.
Survivors include his wife; one son T.J. (Mary); and two grandchildren, all from the Portage County area.
