Joseph Bernard “Joe” Trzinski, 55, Savage, Mont., a Stevens Point native, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Savage, Mont., with the Revs. Ned Shinnick and Jim O’Neil presiding.
Visitation will be at the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel in Sidney, Mont., at 6 p.m. Monday.
Cremation followed the services and interment will be at a later date.
A memorial celebration will be held in Stevens Point on Saturday, March 16.

Mr. Trzinski was born March 9, 1957, in Stevens Point, a son of Elizabeth (Moscinski) Trzinski and the late to Felix Trzinski. He was the youngest of nine children and attended school in Stevens Point.
He was married to Donna Beck on May 14, 1977.
They lived in Plover, then moved to Savage, Mont., in 1980.
He became a rig hand and in 1983 received the Rig of the Year award as a rig operator for Pool Company. In May of 2000, he completed the first Bakken test well, Burning Tree, near Lambert, Mont. He ended his career as field supervisor for Nabors Completion and Production Services Co.
Fifteen years ago he became a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers after placing his name on the list at age 11. He returned to Wisconsin for the games.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Timothy, Scott and Matthew; one daughter, Mindy (Matt) Jacobs; his mother, Elizabeth Trzinski, Stevens Point; six sisters,
Clare Herman and Victoria (Dennis) Zimmerman, both of Wisconsin Rapids; Grace (Bob) Kulis, Amherst, and Loretta Cisewski, Bernadine (Irvin) Derezinski and Kathleen (Art) Kowalski, all of Stevens Point; and one brother, Allen (Betty), Plover.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joan Mancheski.
