Julia A. Spaulding, 80, Wisconsin Rapids, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Monday, March 4, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with Tom O’Day officiating. Entombment will take place at Forest Hill Mausoleum.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. Friday until the services.

Mrs. Spaulding was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Haxby, Mont., a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Warren) Morgan.
Before her marriage she was employed at the Port Edwards Division of Nekoosa Papers Inc.
She was married to Arnold “Bud” Spaulding on March 12, 1952, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died Sept. 22, 1987.
She was a homemaker and also worked part time at Rohde’s Greenhouses in Wisconsin Rapids and Lynn’s Greenhouse and Garden Center in Stevens Point.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynn (Dennis) Kornatowski, Stevens Point, and Deb (Jere) Haas, Wisconsin Rapid; one sister, Shirley Schauer, Russellville, Ark.; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Marlow Rohde; one son, Gary Lee Spaulding; and one brother, Everett Morgan.
