Frances M. Soik, 72, Stevens Point, died Sunday Feb. 24, 2013, at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Custer, with the Rev. Jude Dioka officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski funeral home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church Thursday from 9 a.m. until the Mass.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church of Custer.

Mrs. Soik was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Schmitt) Firkus.
She was married to Myron Soik on April 8, 1961, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
The couple farmed in the town of Stockton for many years.
She was a member of the St. Mary’s Altar society.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Curtis, Bruce (Stacey), and Mark (Barb), all of Stevens Point, and Conroy (Mary), Junction City; three daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Wasieleski, and Lynda (Kevin) Schroeder, both of Plover, and Judi (Ron) Gosh, Amherst Junction; two sisters, Sister Rose Firkus, SSJ-TOSF, Kimberly, and Helen (Bob) Czaplinski, Stevens Point; and 18 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa and Ann Marie Firkus; and one brother, Joseph Firkus.
