William Ward “Bill” Gustafson, 79, Stevens Point, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Harmony Assisted Living in Stevens Point.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Runkel Cemetery in the town of Eau Pleine.
Visitation will be held at Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and at the church Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass.
A memorial will be established at a later date.

Mr. Gustafson was born Aug. 18, 1933, in the town of Eau Pleine, a son of the late Roy and Mildred (Lilyquist) Gustafson. He attended a one-room school house in Junction City and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1951.
He was married to Henrietta Gumney, March 6, 1973.
He lived in Wisconsin Rapids, Junction City and Stevens Point and worked at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation until retiring.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jody (Tom) Hanneman, Wisconsin Rapids, and Kelly (Dennis) Roth-Rosenbrook, Stevens Point; one son, Randolph (Jackie), Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Kenneth (Rosemary) Gustafson, Wisconsin Rapids; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Skibba.
