Gerald “Animal” Worzalla, 73, Stevens Point died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids after a long-term illness.
He has been at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids the past four years.
There are no public services scheduled.

Mr. Worzalla was born June 11, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Edmund C. and Lucille (Janikowski) Worzalla. He graduated from P. J. Jacobs High School in 1957.
He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for more than 30 years and retired as an engineer.
Survivors include three sons, Gary, Christian and Daniel; one brother, Edmund H., Stevens Point; three sisters, Lorraine Strong and Darlene (Fred) Gordon, both of Stevens Point, and Lenore (Clarence) Wachowiak, Milwaukee; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter.
