Loren Henry Ziemer, 94, Stevens Point, a former owner of the Cedar Inn, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Care Partners Assisted Living in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson, Minn.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mr. Ziemer was born June 15, 1918, in Lake Fremont Township, Martin, Minn., a son of the late Ellsworth G. and Lottie Alivina (Dreke) Ziemer. He was raised on his parents’ farm, attended a local school and attended the local Lutheran church.
He was married to Leona Allen.
They farmed close to Dunnell, Minn. They later divorced.
He was later married to Ada. She died on Dec. 22, 1979.
They moved to Kasson, Minn., where they farmed for many years.
He was later married to June Effertz on April 16, 1981, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Junction City. She died on Dec. 10, 2000.
They moved to Stevens Point. He purchased the Cedar Inn, which they operated until her death.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia (Jack) Huff, Weatherby, Mo.; one brother, Martin (Lois), Dunnell, Minn.; one sister, Myra Schmidtke, Walker, Minn.; two grandchildren; one granddaughter-in-law; seven great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Walter; one sister Geraldine; and one grandson.
