Scott Gerald Williamson, 42, Rochester, Minn., a former Stevens Point resident, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in Rochester, Minn.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel in downtown Rochester, Minn.
A celebration of his life will follow at 1:45 p.m. at Meadow Lakes Senior Living dining room in Rochester, Minn.
Mr. Williamson was born Sept. 15, 1970, in Lake Forest, Ill., a son of Gerald Williamson and the late Donna (Zimmer) Williamson.
He was married to Kjersten Leigh Hagedorn in Wausau on Sept. 23, 1995.
He worked most recently as product development manager for Halcon of Stewartville, Minn. Previously he worked in product design at Sunrise Medical of Stevens Point (later Joerns), Benchmark Electronics of Rochester, Minn.; and Hardcore Computer of Rochester, Minn. He received several national design awards and patents.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Nicholas, Rochester, Minn.; one daughter, Elisabeth, Rochester, Minn.; his father, Rochester, Minn.; and one sister, Dawn Burgess, Los Angeles, Calif.
