Joyce M. Quist, 79, Stevens Point, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plover, with the Rev. Al Moen officiating.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Mrs. Quist was born May 18, 1933, in Howard Lake, Minn., a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Johnson) Hendrickson. She grew up there, attended the local grade school and graduated from Howard Lake High School.
She was married to Everil A. Quist on Aug. 20, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minn. They had been married for 61 years.
She worked at Copps Super Market for eight years as a deli manager, retiring in 2000. She then volunteered with various organizations such as hospice, Meals on Wheels and Home Health Care, spending time with the elderly.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Larry (Debbie), Walworth, Ronald (Nancy), Waukesha, James (Lynn), Springfield, Mo., and Randall (Linda), Seymour; one brother, Orville Hendrickson, Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister, Betty Dahlen, Cokato, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
