The city of Stevens Point has one month left to decide whether or not it will accept an offer from Portage County to consolidate its emergency dispatch services under Portage County’s emergency dispatch.
“We are still analyzing it. We have not made an official decision,” said Mayor Andrew Halverson. “There are a million ways we need to look at this one. It’s not just simple black and white, in or out.”
