Muriel E. Cummings, 88, Bancroft, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the town of Pine Grove.
Visitation will be at the church from 5 p.m. Friday until the services.

Mrs. Cummings was born March 9, 1924, in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor (Scheckelman) Halpin.
She was married to Duane Cummings on April 25, 1942. He died on Dec. 14, 2008.
Mrs. Cummings farmed for 60 years with her husband. She also worked at American Potato for 17 years.
Survivors include four sons, Douglas (Bonnie), Hancock, and Mike, William (Mary) and James (Yvonne), all of Bancroft; two daughters, Terry Callahan, Plainfield, and Frances Hubbard, Stevens Point; one sister, Mildred Humphrey; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Art, Gene and Jerry Halpin; and one grandson.
