A service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point. Burial will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery in Custer.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Monday until the service.

Mrs. O’Keefe was born March 27, 1935, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Clarence Smith and Susan Golla. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Stevens Point in 1953 where she was named the school’s “Miss Academy,” the school’s highest student honor. She graduated from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee.
She was married to Maurice O’Keefe in 1959. He died in 1997.
They resided in Hartford until moving to Whiting in 1965.
She was an art teacher in Hartford, and later a part-time teacher’s aide at McDill Elementary School in Whiting. She also served as an agricultural census taker for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. She worked for more than a decade as a full-time administrative aide for the Portage County Health & Human Services Department, before retiring in 1997.
She was a Master Gardener.
Survivors include two sons, Mark and Peter; two brothers, Chester Smith and James Smith; one sister, Catherine Smith; and four grandchildren.
