John F. Mullarkey, 92, Plover, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Greg Bohren officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, until the Mass.

Mr. Mullarkey was born June 15, 1920, in Ludlow, Mass., a son of the late Francis “Frank” and Laura (Jodion) Mullarkey. He graduated from Ludlow High School in 1939.
He was married to Alice Nedeau on Feb. 19, 1941, in Ludlow, Mass.
He entered the U.S. Air Force and was part of the first graduating class of the Denver Air Force Base in September 1942. He was then stationed in Kings Cliff England until his honorable discharge in 1946.
They lived in Ludlow, Mass., where he worked as a building material salesman. They moved to Georgia in 1969. He retired in 1983.
The couple moved to Toccoa, Ga., in 1987 where he designed and installed stained glass windows in his parish church. They moved to Florida in 1995, and eventually settled in Plover to be near family where they have resided since 2004.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Maureen Giblin, Stevens Point; one son, Thomas, Duluth, Ga.; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen LaVariere.
