Sophie Slowinski, 92, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at North Ridge Assisted Living in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Lyle Schulte officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a general rosary at 6 p.m., and at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Friday.

Mrs. Slowinski was born Nov. 28, 1920, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian (Kosobucki) Glodowski. She graduated from Emerson High School in 1938.
She was married to Pat Bennett in 1941. He died in 1960.
She worked at Chartiers on the east side for a couple of years.
She was married to Roman Slowinski on April 20, 1963, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
Survivors include her husband, Roman; three daughters, Mary Jo (Mike) Denis, Green Bay, Patricia “Tish” Bennett and Jamy (Joseph) Klopotic, both of Stevens Point; one son, Dan Bennett, Vero Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Don Glodowski; and one sister, Evelyn Gilmeister.
