Edwin A. Schweitz, 92, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with Pastor Steve Olson officiating. Interment will be in Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:30 to 80 p.m. Friday and again from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the services.

Mr. Schweitz was born May 13, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., a son of the late Adolf and Ida Schweitz.
He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during World War II.
He was married to Ruth Anderson on Aug. 7, 1943, in Chicago, Ill. She died on April 16, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, Larry, LaGrange Park, Ill., and Paul (Martha), Wilmette, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Viola Taylor and Anita Bokowski.
