Lucille Wierzba, 98, town of Sharon, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Gregory Michaud officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. The Sacred Heart Rosary Society will pray a rosary at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Wierzba was born Jan. 27, 1914, in Hatley, a daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Stepaniak) Jelinski. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School.
She was married to Steven Wierzba on Nov. 7, 1933, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died in 1988.
They farmed at their home in the town of Sharon.
She was a 65-year member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society.
Survivors include six sons, Henry (Alice), William “Billy,” Lawrence, Jack (Marilyn) and Michael, all of Rosholt, and Donald (Arlene), Custer; two daughters, Dolores (Peter) Wrycza, Rosholt, and Darlene (Bill) Phillip, Stevens Point; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Albert and Robert “Bobby”; five sisters; one brother; and one granddaughter.
