Sadie M. Beggs, 90, rural Plainfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in Spiritland Cemetery in the town of Almond.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Monday until the services.

Mrs. Beggs was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Coloma, a daughter of the late Claude and Joy (Powell) Brown.
She was married to John E. Beggs on Jan. 18, 1940, in Iowa. He died on April 10, 2003.
She farmed with her husband in the town of Almond for many years. She also worked at Turzinski Poultry Farms in Almond and later at Del Monte in Plover.
Survivors include two sons, John (Judy), Plainfield, and Robert (Evelyn), Hancock; one daughter, Janince (John) Peterson, Michigan; one brother, Vern Brown Sr., Hixton; one sister, Vaneta (Jack) Willis, South Beloit; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two grandsons.
