Alice Zblewski, 74, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting while under the care of Heartland Hospice, following a two-year battle with health issues after suffering a stroke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a general rosary at 7 p.m., and again at the chapel from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Friday.

Mrs. Zblewski was born March 17, 1938, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Stephen and Frances (Werowinski) Garski. After attending local schools she worked at Normington Dry Cleaners.
She was married to James “Jimmer” Zblewski on Aug. 3, 1957, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point.
She worked various jobs in the area after marriage, most recently as a school aide at Jefferson School until 2009.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael (Nancy) and Leroy, both of Stevens Point, and Bruce (Tina), Plover; one daughter, Elaine (Ed) Sawyer, McFarland; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence and Hubert; and one sister, Alvina Kranig.
