Theresa Kazmierczak, 96, Stevens Point, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at North Haven Assisted Living in Stevens Point.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at St. Stanislaus Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Thomas Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a general rosary at 7 p.m. and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
A memorial in her name will be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mrs. Kazmierczak was born July 10, 1916, in Portage Country, a daughter of the late Leo and Teckla (Maslowski) Stanczyk.
She was married to Prosper “Midget” Kazmierczak on Jan. 23, 1943, in Polonia. He died in 2010.
Together they farmed and operated Midgets & Terry’s Bar and General Store, until selling the business in 1953. They owned and operated P. Kazmierczak’s Home Building.
Survivors include two sons, Leroy (Marge), Mosinee, and Kenneth (Judy), Plymouth; two daughters, Karen (Greg) Suski and Lois (Don) Matykowski, both of Stevens Point; one sister, Selma Turzinski; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Conrad, Emil and Chester; one sister; Lorraine Check; and one granddaughter.
