The Stevens Point Plan Commission will make recommendations at its meeting Monday, Jan. 7, to the city’s Community Development Authority (CDA) on the sale of two CDA-owned properties in the city’s downtown.
The CDA has worked privately to arrange for the $800,000 sale of Edgewater Manor to Seramur Family Limited Partnership and for the $400,000 sale of the former Dunham’s/Stage building to Schertz-Fahrner Properties.
Proceeds from the sales, should they proceed, would likely go into ongoing mall redevelopment efforts and the city’s housing trust funds.
