John Clifton Duff, 91, Junction City, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2013.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
Donations should be given to veterans’ organizations, the Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home or a local hospice.

Mr. Duff was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Denver, Tenn., a son of the late John Ruel and Margaret (Harrington) Duff.
He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marines Corps, serving in the World War II Pacific Theatre. He was honorably discharged.
He was married to Jeanne Marie Lohr for 55 years. She died in 2001.
He partnered with his brother-in-law to run the Waukesha Greenhouse in Wisconsin and Lohr Greenhouse in Tonica, Ill. After more than 30 years as an electrician at Libby Owens Ford Glass Co. in Ottawa, Ill., he retired to build a log home in Junction City, continuing to do part-time electrical work, as well as seasonal work at the DuBay Cranberry Co.
He wintered in Florida his until declining health in 2011 when he moved to Clyde Lassen State Veterans Nursing Home in St. Augustine, Fla.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol (James) Gianino, Pahrump, Nev., Barbara (Jerry) Corgiat, Junction City, and Maggi (Doug) Tyus, Elkton, Fla.; three sons, Jon, Peru, Ill., Joel (Kathy), Arvada, Colo., and Patrick, Stevens Point; one sister, Helen (Jack) Knight, Las Cruces, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
