Shirley Krayecki-Huchthausen, 68, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting, as a result of complications of diabetes. She had been in poor health for the past 15 years.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass.
Memorials may be made to local humane societies.
Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Plover assisted the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Krayecki-Huchthausen was born April 19, 1944, in Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Wallock. She attended schools in Wisconsin Rapids.
She was married to Raymond Krayecki on April 23, 1960. He died in 1991.
She worked at Sentry Insurance in the 1970s before they moved to Rockport, Texas.
They first purchased The Balboa Courts and other motels during the next few decades. until returning to Plover before her husband’s death.
Survivors include one son, Thomas (Emily) Krayecki, Stevens Point; four daughters, Linda (Terry) Wolosek and Donna (Tim) Beadle, both of Stevens Point, Diane L. Anderson, Port Aransas, Texas, and Debbie (Brian) Putnam, Denton, Texas; one sister, Elaine (Ronald) Krayecki; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Don Huchthausen.
