Donald R. Skowronski, 73, Plover, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Tom Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the Mass.
Memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Mr. Skowronski was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Walter and Esther (Waldowski) Skowronski. He attended St. Stanislaus Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. He graduated from Central State Teachers College (now the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) with a degree in mathematics.
He was married to Carol Ann Buckman on June 30, 1962, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She died on July 24, 2005.
He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for a short time before becoming employed with Consolidated Papers-Wisconsin River Division in Whiting. He started out as a laborer in the yard and worked several positions before becoming a lab technician. He retired after 37 years of service.
Mr. Skoronski was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Skowronski and Messina Skowronski, both of Stevens Point; two sons, Jeffery (Paula), Clintonville, and Christopher (Becky), Plover; and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Walter.
