Barry Lee Batten, 60, Blaine, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, following a battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with the Rev. Eugene Gauerke officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Sunday until the service.
A memorial has been established in his name.

Mr. Batten was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Whitefish, Mont., a son of the late Keith and Gwendolyn (Wied) Batten. He graduated from Lincoln County High School in Eureka, Mont., in 1971.
He served his country as a military policeman in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1975. He was stationed in Germany.
Mr. Batten was married to Geraldine Breseman on April 29, 1978, in Blaine.
He was a driver for H.O. Wolding for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jasmine (Chad Courtney) Batten, Blaine, and Brittany Batten, Sun Prairie; one son, Dustin (Suzy Bickler), Madison; two brothers, Dan (Sandra), El Paso, Texas, and Doug (Carol), Enterprise, Ore.; and one grandson.
