Henry M. “Hank” Matykowski, 89, Sun Prairie, formerly of Plover, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Willows Nursing Home in Sun Prairie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, with Msgr. Terrence Connors presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in East Bristol.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the Mass.
A memorial fund will be established.

Mr. Matykowski was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Crivitz, a son of the late Paul and Veronica (Wirkus) Matykowski.
He was married to Marie Mueller on May 1, 1946.
He spent most of his life in the oil distribution industry as the owner/operator of Matty Oil Co. and later as an account executive with several national petroleum products companies.
He and his wife moved from Crivitz to Plover in 1965, where they resided until his retirement, when they moved to Columbus. There, he spent many hours in the senior center wood shop, making birdhouses, ornaments, home decorations and toys for his family.
He was a veteran of the Merchant Seaman, as well as member and officer of the Crivitz Fire Department, Crivitz Lions Club, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus and the St. Mary Catholic Church choir. He was also a member of the Crivitz Barber Shoppers, where his quartet performed throughout the state.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, John (Kathy), Lacey, Wash., Donald (Lois), Stevens Point, William, Des Moines, Iowa, Gerald (Candice), Minneapolis, Minn., Charles (Lisa), Williamsburg, Va., and George (Jayne), Sun Prairie; one brother, Richard (Sandra) Matty, Crivitz; three sisters, Geraldine Matykowski and Johanna (Darrell) Van Beek, both of Crivitz, and Jeanette Bolin, Marinette; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Aloysius, Edward and John; and three sisters, Irene, Gertrude and Bernice.
