Gertrude Marie Gallun, 85, Waukesha, a Stevens Point native, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, following a short illness.
A memorial gathering was held Dec. 28 at Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha.
Visitation was held at the church before the services.

Mrs. Gallun was born March 1, 1927, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Lepinski) Marshall.
She attended St. Stephen School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1944.
She was married to Richard W. Gallun in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death.
After her marriage she returned to school and graduated as a registered nurse.
Survivors include two sons, John (Kathleen) and Jim (Barb); three daughters, Beth Giles, Mary (David) Oberst and Joan (Patrick) Chaneske; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lambert Marshall; and one half-brother, Victor Marshall.
