Douglas R. “Doug” Piotrowski, 49, Stevens Point, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating.
Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary prayed at 7 p.m., and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mr. Piotrowski was born Oct. 23, 1963, in Stevens Point, a son of Richard “Red” and Barbara Piotrowski. He grew up in the Stevens Point area, attended the local schools and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout while in the Boy Scouts. He received an electrician degree from Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids.
He apprenticed with Lind Electric and worked as an electrician in the Stevens Point area. He moved to North Dakota for six years, returning to Stevens Point in March 2012 to continue his work as an electrician.
Survivors include his parents, Stevens Point; four sisters, Deb (Dave) Kosobucki, Deanne (Ron) Skirvin and Dorene (Allen) Bialas, all of Stevens Point, and Wende Goodell; 12 nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Merle Goodell.
