Mary Ann M. Helgeson-Twetan, 83, Stevens Point, formerly of Iola, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Oakridge Senior Living in Stevens Point.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Iola, with the Rev. Dennis Olson officiating. Interment will be in Northland Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Harrison, Waupaca County.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Mrs. Helgeson-Twetan was born May 25, 1929, in Neenah, a daughter of the late August and Anna (Lemke) Winter. She attended schools in Neenah, Symco and Tigerton.
She was married to Charles Helgeson on June 12, 1948. He died on Dec. 15, 1978.
They farmed in the town of Harrison in Waupaca County.
She was married to Orin Twetan on Aug. 23, 1986. He died on Jan. 22, 2003.
They lived in Iola.
She worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills in Waupaca and Krause Publications in Iola for many years.
She was a Sunday School teacher, member of various women’s groups at Northland and Our Savior’s Lutheran churches and was a 4-H leader.
Survivors include one son, Randolph (Debra) Helgeson, Milton; one daughter, Deborah Zurawski, Plover; one sister, Lucille Vandenberg; one brother, Russell (Laverne) Winter; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
