Jennifer Leigh “Jen” Studley, 54, Plover, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Woodlands Church in Plover, with Pastor Doug Schneider officiating. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, until the service.
Memorial fund has been established for the Healing Place Endowment Fund at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Ms. Studley was born Dec. 13, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Edwin and Carolyn (Stoll) Studley. She grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and spent many summers at the Waupaca Chain O’ Lakes campground resort owned by her family. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976 and then from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in history.
She was married to Curtis William Kowalczyk in January 1987.
She was a homemaker, and worked in professional fundraising, including work for Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and the Minnesota Medical Foundation in Minneapolis. She also volunteered with her church and for the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers in Stevens Point.
Survivors include one son, Zach Kowalczyk, Henderson, N.C.; and two sisters, Susan (Peter) Wirtala, Green Bay, and Margaret (Mark) Whitrock, Lenexa, Kan.
