Richard J. Smoker, 70, Plover, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at his home, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A sharing of memories will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point.

Mr. Smoker was born April 13, 1942, in Joliet, Ill., a son of the late William and Blanche (McKnight) Smoker. He grew up in Joliet, Ill., where he attended school.
He lived in various states before moving to Plover to be closer to his family.
Survivors include one brother, William (Kathy), Plover; one nephew; one niece; and two grandnieces.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lynn.
