Marie Schmidt, 90, Plover, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Plover, while under the care of Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley, Iowa, with the Rev. Jerry Oakland officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, Iowa.
Memorials in her name should be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Mrs. Schmidt was born Oct. 15, 1922.
Survivors include one son, Marvin (Rebecca Wiegand) Van Kekerix, Stevens Point; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, her parents, an infant son, three brothers and two sisters.
