Janet T. Wanta, 79, Custer, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
Memorials in her name will be established at a later date.

Mrs. Wanta was born March 9, 1933, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Waldvogel) Meacham. She attended local schools.
She was married to Robert Wanta on Aug. 16, 1952, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Ellis. He died on March 25, 2005.
She worked as a baker for the Holiday Inn and Blueberry Muffin Restaurant.
Survivors include one son, Randy (Diane), Stevens Point; two daughters, Joan (Scott) Gralla, Stevens Point, and Gwen Wanta, Custer; one sister, Shirley (Harvey) Meddaugh, Bancroft; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary; two brothers, Glenn and Harold “Bud” Meacham; and one grandson.
