Martha Betker, 86, Custer, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent, with the Rev. Augustine Bentil officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the service. A parish rosary will be pray at 7 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Betker was born Sept. 30, 1926, in the town of Franzen in Marathon County, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Cychosz) Davidowski. She grew up on a farm in the town of Reid in Marathon County. She graduated from Tyler School. She worked at the Battery Shop in Wausau during her younger years.
She was married to Raymond Betker on May 25, 1946, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. He preceded her in death.
The couple moved to Milwaukee where she worked at Trotsles Leather Tanning Co until it closed. In 1972 they moved back to Shantytown area where they farmed until they retired in 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Roxanne (Bob) Kurszewski, Custer; two sisters, Leona Pampuch, Custer, and Mary Jane Charneski, Mosinee; one brother, Mike (Nancy) Delikowski Jr., Hatley; and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Alex Davidowski; and her stepfather, Mike Delikowski Sr.
