Donald J. Gribble, 77, Plover, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Plover-Shuda Funeral Home in Plover, with Dwaine Habrat officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Wednesday until a ritual by the Elks, of which Donald was a member, shortly before the service, and then after the service until 8 p.m.
A memorial will be established at a later date.

Mr. Gribble was born Dec. 5, 1934, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Burdette and Catherine (Federman) Gribble. He graduated from Pius XI in Milwaukee.
He was married to Lois Paque on Aug. 6, 1953, in Milwaukee.
The couple settled in Milwaukee until 1963 when they moved to Stevens Point and then Plover in 1970. He worked at both Esser and Point Glass until 1967 when he became a trucker. He worked at Moodie Inc. before he joined Construcks, where he worked until retirement.
They spent the past seven winters in Texas.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Karen (Rick) Adams, Debra (Leonard) Jelinski, Donna (Mike) Baumhofer and James (Debbie), all of Plover, Kim Gribble, Mosinee, and Lorie (Joe) Randazzo, Carpentersville, Ill.; one brother, Edward (Marilyn), Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Susan; two brothers, Gerald and Richard; and one grandson.
