Lucia Fern Nicewander, 90, Waupaca, mother of a Plover man, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maple Crest Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Rich Engle officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Sunday until the service.

Ms. Nicewander was born July 7, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Davidson) Pope. She grew up as a Lind Center farm girl.
She worked at Weyauwega A&W, Waupaca’s Tastee-Freeze, Three Squares Restaurant, Jansen’s Restaurant, The Library Restaurant and Piggly Wiggly.
Survivors include two sons, Jim (Sue), Plover, and Dan (Lynn), Shakopee, Minn.; three daughters-in-law, Sharon, Susan and Nan; 13 grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; two sons, Bill and Dave; four brothers; and one sister.
