Robert W. “Bob” Veldhoff, 66, Plover, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Baptist Church in Plover, with the Rev. Gary Akright officiating. Interment will be in Plover Cemetery.
Visitation was scheduled to be held at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.

Mr. Veldhoff was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Holland, Mich., a son of Marvin and Greta (Stegink) Veldhoff. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business at Hope College and a master’s of business administration degree at the University of Michigan.
He worked for Sentry Insurance as a product management consultant until his retirement.
He was married to Lee Fenton on May 22, 1971, in Chicago, Ill. They lived in various places for his job before settling in Plover in 1979.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, and was active in the local area hockey organizations; including as a rink announcer for Stevens Point Area Senior High School hockey.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Rebekah (Michael) Garringer, Portland, Ore.; one son, Stephen (Becky), Whiting; his parents, Holland, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Carl.
